CMMG = Gen 3 Tapco mags in a market where Magpul rules the roost. If it can't reliability feed from a full loaded 30 and doesn't cost less than $9 = FAIL. Tapco Gen 2 generally were reliable. These Gen 3s probably will be too, BUT unnecessary.

2 years ago I bought one from PSA.... Unfortunately I got a defective one, which was really disappointing, and sent it back for a refund...it ran the first mag beautifully but by the 2nd man it loaded up so bad the impact was a foot off. I measured the end of the bore and it was seriously under-sized thus the build up and bad accuracy. I was really disappointed. I won't order another just because I hate having to send stuff back... I always want to buy the dedicated full upper but those got abit pricey too.

CMMG has been killing it lately. Too bad I'm poor.

I love the native 9mm AR mags, presumably more reliable than the pmag inserts which mostly work but do have occasional issues. Opaque is a deal breaker though; please make these available as ether fully translucent, windowed, or have SOME sort of visible indicator of the rounds remaining. Thanks CMMG!

The inserts are great for FMJ bullets but they dont' work well with hollow points. I bought one of your new 33rd 9mm magazines but I haven't had a chance to test it out yet. It looks like it may work better than the Pmag inserts because the feed ramp on the new mags is a hard plastic instead of a super soft plastic and the feed ramp is also designed a little better. It's longer so that should prevent hollow points from trying to scoop up plastic from the feed ramp and causing a jam.

Cool! Hope to see some of these for other pistol calibers (10 mm and 45 ACP specifically) so we can use a standard lower for those as well.

My experience is that these are jamomatics in any rifle with a mid length or longer gas system. Carbine length gas systems and under, they run like a dream. Now I just wish they'd build one in .22 WMR.

Just went ahead and submitted this to the Maryland "Handgun" roster. Will grab one as soon as its approved! Been waiting on a good 8.6 to hit the market (didn't want to barrel swap something else) and of course CMMG gets it done. Will compliment my 10mm Banshee nicely

with 870 style stocks being accepted, i wonder if you could have a wooden handguard for that style of upper. a set of wood furniture would probably look interesting

ambi bolt catch and forward assist are key though... that (and front end modularity) is why the rattler has everyone beat right now
